JetBlue Boosts Family Perks, Trims Entry-Level Elite Benefits

JetBlue is significantly revamping its TrueBlue Mosaic elite status program, with these changes set to take effect for qualification in 2025, leading to status in 2026. The updated program introduces a new qualification metric called "Tiles," replacing the previous system based on flight segments or spending.

Introducing the New Tile System

Under the new system, members will earn Tiles by spending on JetBlue flights, JetBlue Vacations, and services through Paisly by JetBlue. For every $100 spent on these JetBlue services, members will earn 1 Tile. Additionally, spending on qualifying JetBlue credit cards, specifically the JetBlue Plus Card and the JetBlue Business Card, will also contribute to Tile accumulation. For every $1,000 spent on these credit cards, members will earn 1 Tile. Spending with select partners, including American Airlines, rental car providers, hotels, and cruises booked through Paisly by JetBlue, will also count towards earning Tiles.

Enhanced Mosaic Tiers and Perks

The new TrueBlue Mosaic program will feature four distinct elite levels: Mosaic 1, Mosaic 2, Mosaic 3, and Mosaic 4. Each level requires a specific number of Tiles for qualification:

• Mosaic 1: Requires 50 Tiles. Members will receive all current Mosaic benefits plus the choice of two new "Mosaic Perks You Pick" benefits.
• Mosaic 2: Requires 100 Tiles. Members will receive Mosaic 1 benefits along with two additional "Mosaic Perks You Pick" benefits.
• Mosaic 3: Requires 150 Tiles. Members will receive Mosaic 2 benefits, two additional "Mosaic Perks You Pick" benefits, and one complimentary upgrade to Mint, JetBlue’s premium cabin, for one segment (subject to availability).
• Mosaic 4: Requires 200 Tiles. Members will receive Mosaic 3 benefits, two additional "Mosaic Perks You Pick" benefits, and two complimentary upgrades to Mint for two segments (subject to availability).

The "Mosaic Perks You Pick" options include six distinct benefits. These choices are priority access to Mint Suite selection, the ability to gift Mosaic 1 status to another individual, a credit for a Blade helicopter transfer between JFK/EWR and Manhattan, a waiver for pet fees, a bonus of 20 Tiles upon earning status, or an unlimited complimentary upgrade to Even More Space seats at check-in.

Transition for Current Members

Current TrueBlue Mosaic members will retain their existing status through December 31, 2025. To maintain Mosaic status or achieve a higher tier starting January 1, 2026, these members will need to qualify under the new Tiles system during the 2025 qualification period. The new perks associated with the updated program will also become available starting January 1, 2026.
