The Louisville Slugger Warriors are coming to a stadium near you.
The nationally sponsored amputee baseball team will face off against against the Naples All-Stars on Saturday at JetBlue Park. The game will be free to the public.
The Warriors are the subject of an upcoming documentary called “Curveballs… Secrets of the Game,” directed and produced by Fort Myers resident John Biffar. Filming began in January at at FGCU’s Swanson Stadium.
The game will be filmed for the documentary, according to a news release. The team, founded by Estero native David Van Sleet, has become a national sensation.
