Welch questions FAA about Vermont flight cancellations


WASHINGTON (WCAX) – Sen. Peter Welch wants to know what the Federal Aviation Administration is doing to address a shortage of air traffic controllers. The Democrat says the shortage has led to canceled flights, delays and the cancellation of flight paths across the country, including Vermont.

In October of last year, JetBlue announced it would no longer service Burlington, cutting its route to JFK in New York, citing a shortage of air traffic controllers at JFK.
