The Airbus A220 is a smaller narrowbody originally designed by Bombardier and then purchased by Airbus. The aircraft type, formerly known as the CSeries, was unveiled at the Farnborough International Air Show in July 2008. In October 2017, Airbus acquired a controlling share of Bombardier and almost immediately rebranded the CSeries family to the A220.
