Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways expand codeshare
Doha, Qatar & Nairobi, Kenya – Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways have announced an expansion of their existing codeshare agreement, aiming to enhance connectivity and offer greater travel options for customers. The enhanced partnership allows passengers to book more seamless journeys between the two airlines’ extensive networks.
The expanded codeshare signifies a deepening of the strategic relationship between the two carriers. This collaboration is designed to leverage the strengths of both airlines, providing travelers with more convenient and comprehensive flight options.
Under the terms of the expanded agreement, Qatar Airways will place its marketing code on an increased number of Kenya Airways-operated flights. This will allow Qatar Airways passengers to access a wider range of destinations within Kenya and across East Africa, served by Kenya Airways.
Conversely, Kenya Airways will also expand its codeshare with Qatar Airways, placing its marketing code on additional Qatar Airways-operated flights. This will provide Kenya Airways passengers with enhanced access to destinations served by Qatar Airways, including those in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
The expansion is expected to benefit a broad spectrum of travelers, including business and leisure passengers. The increased network reach and streamlined booking process are intended to simplify travel planning and improve the overall customer experience.
