In March 2024,
Simple Flying reported Korean Air had placed a massive $13.7 billion order for 33 new Airbus A350s
(including six A350-900s and 27 A350-1000s). Korean Air
has now received the first two A350-900s and is placing them on short-haul routes to Osaka
and Fukuoka
