DALLAS — Korean Air (KE) has announced a new non-stop flight from Seoul Incheon International (ICN) to Lisbon (LIS). KE plans to operate three-weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays on board its Boeing 787-9s on this route.
The scheduled charter flights KE921/922 will be operated from September 11 to October 25, marking the only non-stop flight between Northeast Asia and Lisbon. KE will operate a total of 20 round trips during the two months.
“The scheduled charter flights are the only nonstop flights between Northeast Asia and Lisbon. Previously, travelers had to transfer in neighboring countries such as France and Spain or switch to land transport upon arrival in Europe. The new direct flights will streamline the journey, making trips to Lisbon and its adjacent cities more accessible,” said a Korean Air spokesperson.
Korean Air’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners are equipped with 269 seats, spread across 24 business class and 245 economy class seats. Alongside the Dreamliner, KE flies a diverse long-haul fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, including the A330, A380, the Boeing 747-8i, and the Boeing 777.
