Overview:

Qatar Airways is hiring an experienced Tax and Compliance Officer at their Ahmedabad location. The position will be responsible for tax compliance, Corporate laws & other allied laws, Tax computations, Tax filing, ensuring correct monthly closing of Tax GL accounts.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparing corporate income tax return for airline
• Assisting for preparing monthly financial tax statements of outstations & identifying drivers of financial receivables & payable of tax, GST/ VAT
• Assisting for direct & indirect tax litigation & advisory matters
• Assisting for implementation of internal & external tax audit finding results
• Ensuring correct monthly closing of tax GL account
• Ensuring computation of tax as per local legislation, payment of due taxes & filing tax returns on timely basis

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Finance / Taxation / CA / ICWA/ CPA/ ACCA with relevant experience
• Minimum 4 years relevant work experience
• Prefer candidates from Airline industry or tax consultants
• Prefer user level experience on Oracle/ SAP.
