If you’ve been a longtime fan of the airline, you’ll be excited to hear that Qatar Airways just announced its first credit card for the U.S. market in a partnership with Cardless. The two cards will have Visa Signature and Visa Infinite variants, but more information remains unknown.
Cardless currently issues four credit cards—the LATAM Airlines Mastercard, LATAM Airlines World Elite Mastercard, Simon® American Express® Credit Card and TAP Miles&Go American Express®*. How To Get the Qatar Airways Credit Cards
Those interested in applying for the cards can join a waitlist to learn more and be among the first to apply when available. Even if you think you might apply, joining the waitlist can give you the option when the details roll out. Card applicants on the waitlist will receive up to 10,000 bonus Avios on top of any welcome offer. That’s 5,000 bonus Avios for the Visa Signature variant and 10,000 bonus Avios for the Visa Infinite option.
To receive these bonus Avios, you’ll need to get the credit card within 30 days of the application going live and be subject to minimum spending requirements. If you aren’t already, be sure to become a member of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club, so you’re ready when the cards launch.
Bottom Line
While we don’t have much information on the new cards, it’s always exciting to see a new offering in the points and miles world.
