Qatar Airways has been ranked as the best airline in the world for 2024 by AirlineRatings, known for its annual rankings of the safest airlines globally. The Airline Excellence Awards consider factors such as safety, product rating, fleet age, profitability, incidents, passenger reviews, innovation, and aircraft orders.
These rankings are determined by a panel of judges with over 100 combined years of industry expertise. Qatar Airways, based in Doha, reclaimed the top rank in 2024 after previously holding it in 2021 and 2022.

Qatar Airways excelled in many categories, particularly in passenger feedback, which consistently praised its service and high standards. The airline not only received the Airline Excellence Award for 2024 but also secured the Best Business Class award for the fifth consecutive year.
