Doha: Qatar Airways has stated that it will soon place a big order for widebody aircraft to maintain a “very strong, best fleet” in the industry, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Thierry Antinori told Reuters.
Antinori said that the contract would be announced soon, though the CCO has yet to confirm whether the deal will be with Airbus, Boeing, or a split order between both manufacturers.
