United Airlines is running ads on multiple routes and in six different markets for Super Bowl 2024.
The ads featuring Emmy Award-winning actor Kyle Chandler will debut on YouTube on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024.
“Last year, about 20 days before the game, we decided to purchase a local market spot in Denver, one of our hub cities, because we had a good, timely story to tell specific to customers there. This year, we started our planning much earlier — knowing that as an airline we can really utilize a geo-specific media buy to our advantage and narrow in on select markets,” said Maggie Schmerin, United Airlines’ Chief Advertising Officer.
Schmerin added that this year, United wanted to create unique ads targeted to each city, bringing home the ultimate message that United does not charge fees to change flights.
United’s targeted ads will air in Chicago, Denver, Houston, Kansas City and Cleveland, while a more generalized ad will air in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Colorado Springs and…
