CHICAGO, Jan. 25, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — United has unveiled plans to introduce over 100 new flights to destinations within the U.S. and Canada this summer. This expansion aims to facilitate easy access to some of North America’s most scenic locations, including Anchorage and Fairbanks in Alaska, and Canadian cities such as Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.
The airline witnessed a surge in demand for outdoor-focused destinations during the pandemic, including national parks and mountainous regions.
Anticipating this trend to persist, United is preparing its most extensive schedule for Alaska in a decade and significantly increasing flights between the U.S. and Canada. The airline will offer nearly 70 daily flights to various national park destinations, including Bozeman, MT, Jackson Hole, WY, and Kalispell, MT.
