The United Flight 2091 was about to take off from the airport around 2 p.m. when its engine caught fire on the taxiway, according to the FAA.
There were 148 passengers and five crew members on the Airbus A320 which was headed to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington.
An airport spokesman said the airplane experienced an “emergency situation” upon departure and the situation was resolved “safely.”
United Airlines told Fox News Digital that the plane was towed to the gate and passengers disembarked normally.
No injuries were reported.
