Mattydale, N.Y. — A United Airlines flight heading to Canada was diverted to the Syracuse airport Sunday evening.
The Bombardier CRJ700 plane made an emergency landing at about 9:15 p.m. at Syracuse Hancock International Airport after a mechanical issue, according to an airline spokesperson. It landed without incident.
Flight 4418 took off from Dulles International Airport in Washington at about 7:45 p.m., roughly two hours behind schedule.
