A United Airlines plane rolled off the runway and onto the grass at a Houston airport Friday morning as it headed toward a gate, the airline said in a statement.
The Boeing 737 flight landed at George Bush Intercontinental Airport at around 8 a.m. when it rolled onto the grass, United and Houston Airports and Houston Spaceport said in separate statements, according to NBC News.
The flight had left from Memphis International Airport and had 160 passengers and six crew members on board. Passengers exited the plane on the taxiway and had to be bused to the terminal, according to reports.
No one on board was injured, the statements said, and the incident did not disrupt other flights, according to a spokesman for United Airlines.
It’s not clear what caused the plane to veer off the runway. The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident, the report said.
