United Airlines on May 24 inaugurated a new daily, direct connection between Athens and Chicago O’Hare, marking a 30 percent increase in its flights to Greece for 2024.
The decision to introduce the new seasonal route reflects the strong preference of American travelers for Greece as a holiday destination, as highlighted by the company’s executives during a recent media briefing in the Greek capital.
