Here’s how to beat traffic this Memorial Day weekend
Are you traveling this Memorial Day weekend? Well, get ready, ’cause you’re not alone. According to travel experts at AAA, some 42.8 million Americans are expected to hit the road or take to the skies to get to wherever they’re going for the long holiday weekend. Veuer’s Tony Spitz has the details.
Starting September 26, United Airlines will offer a new nonstop service from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport to Washington-Dulles International Airport.
Dulles, Virginia, is a part of the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
“In addition to being a critical link to our nation’s capital, Washington-Dulles is a valuable access point for international passengers traveling to and from GSP and major destinations in Asia, Europe and the Middle East,” said David Edwards, president and CEO of the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District. “We welcome the resumption of service on this very important route for our region.”
