United Airlines, the largest carrier at Denver International Airport, will offer more than 40 new flights this summer, including expanded service to national parks and Canada.
The service is among 100 new flights nationwide that United announced Thursday to cities in the U.S. and Canada.
The airline said in a statement that during the pandemic, demand rose from travelers who wanted to get outdoors and visit mountain towns and national parks. United expects the trend to continue this year.
A daily nonstop flight from Denver will be added to mountain towns, including Vail, Sun Valley Idaho, and the Kalispell/Glacier National Park area in Montana.
