AGX Secures Vietnam Service Agreement with VietJet

AGX Group (AGX) has announced its expansion into Vietnam through a new service agreement with Vietjet Air Cargo (Vietjet). The agreement designates AGX’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Air Cargo Global (ACG), as Vietjet’s General Sales Agent (GSA) for air cargo services in Malaysia and Singapore.

This strategic partnership enables AGX to immediately commence providing services for Vietjet’s international and domestic freight network. According to Datuk Ponnudorai Periasamy, AGX’s managing director and group chief executive officer, this move aims to strengthen AGX’s regional footprint and expand its service offerings across Southeast Asia.

The collaboration signifies a shared commitment between AGX and Vietjet to enhance air cargo capabilities. Both companies seek to address the increasing demand for efficient logistics solutions within the region. Ponnudorai emphasized that leveraging Vietjet’s extensive network alongside AGX’s robust logistical expertise will allow the partnership to deliver high-quality service and broaden market reach.

AGX views this collaboration as a way to solidify its standing as a key player in the regional air cargo industry. It also anticipates future growth opportunities, particularly within the Vietnamese market.
