Vietjet has announced a significant increase in flight frequency on its routes to Australia to meet rising travel demand between the two countries. The airline will enhance its services from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to both Sydney and Melbourne.
This expansion is a direct response to the growing need for connectivity for tourism, business, and family travel. The increased capacity aims to provide more convenient and affordable travel options for passengers flying between Vietnam and Australia.
Increased Flight Schedule
Beginning 1 December 2024, Vietjet will operate daily flights on its Ho Chi Minh City-Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City-Melbourne routes. This change boosts the service to 14 weekly return flights for each Australian city. The airline will deploy its modern A330 wide-body aircraft on these routes to accommodate the increased passenger volume.
With this latest service enhancement, Vietjet’s total flight network between Vietnam and Australia will consist of 58 weekly flights. The airline connects Vietnam’s major hubs, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, with five key Australian destinations: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
Promotional Fares
To celebrate the increased flight frequency, Vietjet is offering a special promotion featuring VND0 airfares, exclusive of taxes and fees. This promotional offer is available for booking every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from now until 31 October 2024. The travel period for these promotional tickets is valid from now until 31 March 2025. Passengers can also take advantage of the Vietjet SkyJoy loyalty program.
