In light of the increased travel demand during the Lunar New Year celebration, Vietjet has acquired two additional aircraft under wet-leased arrangement. This recent expansion brings the airline’s wet-lease fleet to six, adding on to its existing fleet of 105 aircraft operating across 125 routes within Vietnam and internationally.
Vietjet has recently expanded its services with the introduction of nearly 750 flights, providing 154,800 extra seats to meet rising demand during the peak travel period in Vietnam and the region. The additional flights will primarily enhance the capacity for services departing from Vietnam’s largest city of Ho Chi Minh. This is especially significant as a majority of travellers choose this departure point for their journey back to their hometowns in the Northern and Central provinces, such as Hanoi, Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen), Chu Lai (Quang Nam), Dong Hoi (Quang Binh), Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), Da Nang, Hue, Vinh (Nghe An), Thanh Hoa, and Hai…
