Vietjet orders 100 Airbus jets and 40 Rolls-Royce engines
Vietnamese low-cost carrier VietJet has placed a significant order for 100 Airbus jets, marking a substantial expansion for the airline. This order includes 50 Airbus A321neo and 50 Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
In addition to the aircraft order, VietJet also announced a separate deal for 40 Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines to power its incoming Airbus A330neo fleet. This engine order is part of a broader agreement for engine support and maintenance services.
The airline has stated that this substantial investment in new aircraft and engines is aimed at expanding its flight network and enhancing its operational capabilities.
