Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) has reported impressive business performance for 2023.
The company has expanded its international network, accelerating the recovery and development of tourism, investment, and trade in the Asia-Pacific region.
In 2023, Vietjet operated 133,000 flights with 25.3 million passengers (excluding Vietjet Thailand) – a surge of 183% YoY, with more than 7.6 million on international flights.
Vietjet last year continued to grow its network with 33 new international and domestic routes, bringing the total number of routes to 125, including 80 international and 45 domestic routes.
Vietjet has become the first airline to connect Vietnam with the five largest cities in Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane. The airline is also the largest operator between Vietnam and India, with routes connecting Vietnam with the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Tiruchirappalli.
