The administrator overseeing Bonza’s collapse has released an update on the carrier’s status as they strive to maximise options for the business and VietJet leaves investment discussions at the table.
Administrators say they will continue to maximise the chances of survival for Bonza or, “as much as possible of its business continuing in existence; or if this is not possible, to achieve a better result for the Company’s creditors than that which would result if the Company was immediately wound up,”
Update on Administrators Activities
Administrators have been working around the clock in a bid to save Bonza, meeting with various investors including airlines and other travel companies over the weekend.
“The administrators advised creditors at last Friday’s meeting that a time frame for interested parties would be set,” the release set.
“To that end, we have set and communicated that timeframe to interested parties.”
