In order to meet the surge in travel demand
during the upcoming Lunar New Year period and beyond, Vietjet has
expanded its fleet with two aircraft under a wet lease agreement.
The additional aircraft brings Vietjet’s wet-lease
fleet to six, joining its regular fleet of 105 aircraft, serving
125 routes in Vietnam and internationally.
A wet lease provides Vietjet with not only the
aircraft but also the pilots and crew as part of the deal.
The airline also recently added nearly 750
flights, providing 154,800 additional seats to serve rising demand
during the peak travel period in Vietnam and the region.
