How would you feel about jetting off to an unknown country?
Well, this is what a flight full of passengers had to face after a TikToker posted a video of the moment she and others were told where they’d been flown to.
And judging by their screams, I’d say they were pretty happy with their surprise destination.
Tasha, a solo traveller posted a video about a Wizz Air campaign she joined which jets you off to a city unknown and only discloses where you are when you get there.
In her video, you can hear the moment the pilot states, ‘we’d like to welcome you to Antalya, Türkiye’ to dozens of woo-ing passengers and it’s a crazy thing to see.
However, that doesn’t mean everyone was happy to watch the delighted reaction.
A lot of people were unsure about how you could arrange this experience, to which traveller Tasha pinned her explanation.
She wrote: “In reply to everyone’s comments this was a special campaign that Wizz Air sometimes do! For influencers and IG competition winners. It included a hotel stay too. Check out my vlog for all the info!!”
Thankfully, most viewers were excited on her behalf and loved the destination the company chose for the flight passengers.
One TikTok user wrote: “I lived in Turkey last summer and it’s beautiful!! Antalya is a great city!”
Another said: “Omggg literally my dream to do a mystery trip.”
Though, there were some questioned about what would happen to those who didn’t hold a valid visa for the location.
Someone asked: “How does this work with visas or do they only go to places that don’t need it?”
A second person questioned how the hotel bookings work: “Question, how do you get a hotel when you get there? Do you just make the reservation with the airline or just hope that there’s housing.”

Passengers are pretty much kept in the dark about where they are going until they land – with the winners ‘only being told what climate to pack for a few days ahead of the trip’.
Plus hotels are booked for the passengers in advance and if you need a visa to enter, they’d obviously have to disclose this.
In another video, the solo traveller posted about her journey with Wizz Air and its mystery package – which it turned out to be an amazing experience.
Not only did the airline book a beautiful hotel with a buffet and entertainment, but Tasha even claimed that as soon as the passengers stepped out of the plane, they were ‘treated like royalty’.
Now, that’s something I can get behind.
