Wizz Air has launched a mystery flight where Brits will only find out their destination when they land. The budget airline is offering the once-in-a-lifetime experience as part of its new #LetsGetLostwithWIZZ campaign.
Those who manage to bag themselves a ticket will have to turn up to London Gatwick on March 7 and will then be flown to an unknown destination. The lucky few can expect a “jam-packed four-day itinerary of fun, including cultural, culinary and adventure activities”.
But whether to pack summer clothes or winter gear will remain a mystery until just a few days before departure, with winners only being told what climate to prepare for. No other clues will be revealed until the plane touches down in the unknown location.

For a chance to win a seat on the plane, UK residents can visit the Wizz Air Instagram page and follow the prompts on the latest reel. Entries close on February 22 at 12.01am and those selected will be able to bring a plus one on the trip. Winners will be contacted via Instagram.
Wizz Air flies to more than 70 destinations from the UK, with popular choices including Morocco, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey and Spain. It is not yet known whether the Hungarian airline will send the 35 lucky winners to one of its most popular destinations or somewhere more off the beaten track.
Marion Geoffroy, who’s in charge of Wizz Air in the UK, was really excited about their new idea. She said: “We love connecting our passengers to new countries, allowing them to meet new people and try new experiences. Going on a flight to an unknown destination is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we are pleased to be able to offer this to lucky winners here in the UK.” She also added: “Let’s Get Lost is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our British passengers and we hope to continue serving them as they travel the world and make new memories.”
Wizz Air told everyone at the end of January that they will start flying from the UK to Israel again by March. They had stopped their flights because of some trouble between Israel and Hamas that started in October. From March, Wizz Air will fly from places like Budapest, Sofia, Bucharest, Krakow, London, and Rome to Tel Aviv.
Before, Wizz Air used to fly from Gatwick and Luton in the UK to Israel. But other airlines like British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and easyJet haven’t said if they’re going to fly to Israel again yet. El Al, which is an airline from Israel, kept flying to Tel Aviv from the UK even when there was trouble.
