Europen, ultra-low-cost airline Wizz Air is looking at direct connectivity between its biggest European bases and India.
Speaking to Fe, Wizz Air chief executive József Váradi said the airline is in touch with India’s civil aviation regulator, DGCA, to start the new flight services.
“We are working on designation (regulatory approval) to be able to come here from Europe or Abu Dhabi,” he told Fe on the sidelines of the CAPA India Summit.
