Wizz Air will operate a handful of flights between Belgrade and Munich International Airport in June to cater for fans heading to Germany to watch the Serbian national football team at the UEFA Euro 2024 championship. The budget carrier will operate two flights between the Serbian capital and Munich on June 20, as well as one flight each on June 25 and June 26. The dates correspond to the team’s group games against Slovenia and Denmark. For the opening group game against England on June 16, Wizz has scheduled an extra flight to Dortmund. Services to Munich will also complement Wizz Air’s daily flights to Memmingen. “We’re delighted to support the fans of the Serbia team by getting them to 2024 European Championship matches, so they’ll be able to see their favourites in person and cheer them on. The flight schedules have been specifically adapted to the dates of the matches, making it easier for fans to travel to and from the games”, Wizz Air said. Tickets for the Munich flights are now available for purchase through the airline’s website.
