Delta Air Lines has unveiled new cabin interiors that are set to debut on domestic and short-haul international routes in the coming weeks and will be installed across its entire fleet “over the next few years”.
The US carrier on Tuesday revealed details of the “nose-to-tail transformation of our cabin interior”, which includes new seating materials, “enhanced” lighting, a warmer colour palette throughout and new decorative motifs on bulkheads and in lavatories.
Updated seats will feature breathable materials and, on wide-body jets, will also include memory-foam cushions, while mood lighting will change throughout the course of flights to create a “calming” atmosphere. Lavatories will also be refreshed with bright…
