Emirates’ premium economy cabin will be available on more European routes this summer, with the carrier planning to introduce its retrofitted A380 aircraft on routes to Manchester and Milan from 6 June and 1 July, respectively.
The Dubai-based carrier is in the process of fitting its A380s with a new four-cabin configuration, which includes 56 premium economy seats laid out in a 2-4-2 configuration.
Milan will become the carrier’s second Italian gateway to feature the premium economy cabin, following the planned deployment of the airline’s A350 to Bologna in June.
Manchester, meanwhile, will be the fourth UK destination with the upgraded cabin, complementing the carrier’s four daily retrofitted A380s currently serving the…
