Emirates has reported its best ever half-year financial results, with AED10.4bn/$2.8bn in pre-tax profit generated in the six months to the end of June.
This figure was up 1% on the same period last year.
Group revenue was 5% ahead, year-on-year, at AED62.2bn/$16.9bn. The airline operations, alone, taking out the rest of the group’s activities generated first half profits of AED9.7bn/$2.6bn.
