Etihad Airways has reported an after-tax profit of AED1.4bn/$368m for the first nine months of this year; up 66% on the corresponding period last year.
The Abu Dhabi airline’s revenue for the nine months to the end of September was up 21%, year-on-year, at AED18.4bn/$5bn. Within that, passenger revenue was up 21% to AED15.2bn/$4.1bn.
Actual passenger volumes were up 35%, year-on-year, at almost 14 million passengers.
