Darren Williams has been announced as the new managing director of Evolvi, a rail booking platform. He will take over the position in August from retiring Andrew Cantrell who has spent 17 years with the firm. Williams was previously the commercial director at ground transport consolidator Omio, based in Berlin, and has also held positions in UK and international sales at Eurostar. The b2b rail booking tool for the UK is frequently used by travel management companies and was involved in the acquisition deal of Agiito from Capita by Portman Travel Group-owned Clarity Business Travel last year.
