Hyatt is stepping up its presence in the UK as a “priority growth market” with new hotels expected to add more than 1,000 rooms to its portfolio by the end of 2026.
The Chicago-based hotel firm opened the dual-branded Hyatt Place Leeds and Hyatt House Leeds in Yorkshire earlier this month, which has added a total of 305 rooms to its existing UK footprint of 17 hotels.
This will be followed by the upcoming debuts of Hyatt Place London Paddington (87 rooms) and Hyatt Regency London Olympia (200-plus rooms) in the UK capital. They will join Park Hyatt London River Thames, which opened in October 2024.
