Icelandair has launched flights between its Reykjavik base and Nashville in Tennessee, which becomes the carrier’s 18th North American destination.
The Nordic airline operated its first flight to Nashville, known as “Music City”, on Friday (11 April). It will offer four flights per week until the end of October.
Icelandair is using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, equipped with its Saga Premium and economy seats, on the new route with flights to Nashville on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The carrier has also extended an interline agreement with Southwest Airlines, which is the largest airline operating at Nashville International Airport with flights to around 90 destinations across North America.
