Thrust Carbon has unveiled a new AI-powered tool that sends “instant” notifications to travellers regarding the carbon footprint of their business trips.

The sustainability specialist said its TripsAI tool simplifies the otherwise complex process of emissions calculation and deploys “easy-to-understand” information on the impact of travel-related emissions.

Travellers can share their flight booking confirmation with the tool to receive an “instant” notification with information on how their flight’s emissions compare to other flights and travel classes on the route, information about their selected aircraft, and the potential emissions savings of switching the flight.
