A Greensboro company has paid $825,000 for a 2.09-acre tract off Union Cross Road where there are plans for a 100-room hotel.
The site at 1740 Pecan Lane is located in Winston-Salem city limits, but has a Kernersville address.
It has a 277-unit apartment complex and Cracker Barrel and Taco Bell restaurant locations as neighbors.
Omshyam Holding LLC is the buyer, according to a Forsyth County Register of Deeds filing Tuesday.
The company was formed on Nov. 12 by co-managing members Natubhai Chaudhari and Vinodkumar Patel, both listed at 5300 Torwood Court in Greensboro.
The seller is the property-management unit of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. of Lebanon, Tenn.
