BENNER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WTAJ) – A new Tru by Hilton hotel is coming to Benner Township, the latest in several developing projects around the area.
The new hotel will be located along Benner Pike behind the G.M. McCrossin Inc. building. The main purpose of the hotel is to attract tourists to the area.
“We had 4.8 million visitors to Centre County in 2022. People don’t just come here for football games,” Fritz Smith, president and CEO of the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau, said. “They come here for lots of reasons.”
