The holiday season is upon us, and with it, holiday travel and that same old question that pops up every year: What are we going to do about the family pet while we’re gone?
An estimated 79.9 million travelers will journey 50 miles or more from home over the Thanksgiving holiday travel period between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2, the American Automobile Association said in a press release this week.
According to AAA, a private national membership-based motor club providing services like roadside assistance and travel benefits, that’s a projected increase of 1.7 million travelers compared to 2023 and 2 million more than in 2019.
