California state tourism marketing is laying on the love as reports mount of Canadians cancelling U.S. travel plans due to the trade war.
“California wouldn’t be California without Canada.”
That’s the crux of a campaign launched this week by Visit California, the state’s tourism agency, in an effort to get Canadians visiting the Golden State once more.
Visit California is offering Canadians a 25 per cent discount to more than a thousand hotels, activities, and attractions.
The offer comes as cross-border travel drops to historic lows, thanks to the trade war.
