Plans to build a new hotel are among the latest planning applications submitted to Watford, Three Rivers and Dacorum councils.
The Watford Observer reported this week that a proposal to build a five-storey 131-room Travelodge near Watford General Hospital has been lodged with Watford Borough Council.
The proposed hotel part of the Watford Riverwell Development’s ‘neighbourhood square’, which aims to “knit together” the wider 1,000-home project’s residential component, a rebuilt hospital, and its other uses.
