Airbnb selected the Seoul Community Chest of Korea and Save Jeju Sea, a corporation, as targets for domestic support this year.
This year’s Airbnb Community Fund supports organizations working to eradicate △ economic capacity building △ environmental sustainability △ abuse and exploitation, three key areas selected by the Airbnb Host Advisory Committee, which represents the voices of Airbnb hosts around the world.
As a result, more than $8.5 million (about 12.16 billion won) will be provided to 160 non-profit organizations in more than 30 countries around the world, including community-based non-profit organizations recommended by local hosts as well as large organizations.
