If you’re hooked on all things Bridgerton and have been binge-watching the latest series, you’ll want to check out these Airbnb houses, which let holidaymakers live out their Regency-era dreams in lavish style.
The third series of hit Netflix show Bridgerton is now back on our screens and – while the actual family home used in the show is in London – we’ve found a number of grand Airbnb holiday lets that are perfectly for pretending that you’re Lady Whistledown or Daphne Bridgerton, from UK hotspots like Bath and Suffolk to destinations further afield such as France and Germany.

The city of Bath was an important destination during the Regency era in which Bridgerton is set, with it being a popular holiday hotspot for high society.
Four guests can stay in this highly-rated period-style apartment in Bath’s iconic Royal Crescent, overlooking Royal Victoria Park. Visit the nearby Jane Austen museum, explore the Roman Baths and take a dip in the thermal waters, said to have healing properties.
Set over 80 acres of countryside, including a 3km woodland trail, you’ll feel like lord or lady of the manor staying at this 3-bedroom wing of a Grade II listed house on the Essex/Suffolk border, near Colchester. There’s even an outdoor pool for use during the warmer months (not a luxury they had in the 1800s!).
You and three guests can stay in actual castle (well, in an apartment in a castle) in Strathardle in Scotland, not far from Balmoral and St Andrews. The rental features a kitchen/living room, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms, with plenty of outdoor space to explore.
At the time of writing there were still a few dates available over summer, with plenty more availability from September onwards if you fancy an autumn or winter break instead.
Bridgerton may be set in England, but you can live like royalty on France, too. Stay in the East Tower of this 15th century chateau in the Loire Valley, 6km from Chinon, with rooms for two guests. Circular inside, features include a beamed bedroom and roll top bath, plus a balcony with amazing views.
Or how about Germany? This 700-year ivy-clad old castle in Germany has an apartment to rent through Airbnb, complete with fireplace, small kitchen and beds for up to three people. Spend your days exploring the local countryside, whether that’s by cycling, sailing, playing golfing or skiing.
