David Letterman’s childhood home in Indianapolis available on Airbnb

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – A piece of television history is now available for rent on Indianapolis’ north side.

Located at 5520 Indianola Ave in Broad Ripple, David Letterman‘s childhood home is now listed on Airbnb, providing opportunities for visitors to stay in a house connected to one of television’s most iconic late-night hosts.

Current owner Krystin Wiggs says the home is a normal family bungalow that was well-lived and loved.

While blending in with the neighborhood from the exterior, Wiggs says the home tells a unique story from the interior.

Before rising to fame as the host of ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ and ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’, Letterman was born and raised Indianapolis and attended Ball State University.

Wiggs says when she learned the house was up for sale, she jumped at the chance to own it.
