Each time the proposal was put forth, it was met with strong unanimous disapproval from the public. However, the ordinance met less resistance in June. A group of mostly female residents challenged those advocating for no changes or only some restrictions, expressing concerns about unknown outsiders being drawn to their closely-knit community.
