Puneet Chhatwal, MD & CEO, Indian Hotels, says . 85% to 90% of their growth would be in the home market, where the brands are very strong and the remainder would be selective growth outside of India. Today, as far as Indian Hotels is concerned, the value creation per room is the benchmark in the world. “We are number one among management and branded companies,” says Chhatwal. He says the next big thing for the hotel sector will be the utilisation of the great conference structures that have been created by the government, like the Bharat Mandapam or the Yashobhoomi in Delhi.
This has been a year when Indian Hotels shareholders gas been partying!
Puneet Chhatwal: I hope so. I hope they are happy and pleased. But we are very pleased…
