IHG Inks Deal for First Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Egypt

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed a management deal with Arkan Palm for Real Estate Investment to develop the first Holiday Inn Express hotel in Egypt. The hotel, known as Holiday Inn Express West Cairo 205, is set to open in 2027 and will include 200 keys, two meeting venues, a range of food and beverage and retail outlets, and a fitness center. This isn’t the first time the two companies have collaborated. Earlier, Arkan Palm successfully delivered a Crowne Plaza hotel in West Cairo in February 2022. They are also developing the 250-key InterContinental West Cairo 205.
