On the day before Thanksgiving, officials of Palm Beach’s newest luxury hotel have something to be grateful for as they open the doors of Palm House, which hasn’t welcomed a guest since it closed 17 years ago under a different owner.
The town granted the extensively renovated hotel at 160 Royal Palm Way a “partial” certificate of occupancy early Nov. 27, which allows guests to occupy 36 of the hotel’s 79 rooms, said Wayne Bergman, director of planning, zoning and building.
